Who teaches the courses?

UX Effect is a specialist provider of User Experience Research and Design training. Our mission is to help organisations, teams and individuals make better products and services through human-centred design. UX Effect stands for delivering industry knowledge that gives tangible, achievable and actionable user experience strategies to help grow businesses.

Founded by Lisa Reburn, a User Experience Researcher and Designer, we deliver online training to people across the world. We help businesses to identify user experience issues and provide a toolkit to create human-centred solutions for their users so they can strategically transform their design practices and create remarkable products. We like to think of it as humanising technology.

We also collaborate with other international experts to bring you the most relevant industry knowledge so that you can provide the best experience for your customers and increase your sales and customer loyalty.

What is UX Effect?

We offer the latest education on how and why it’s essential to create enjoyable and seamless user experiences for every person on the planet. We offer online interactive, video-based training programmes that teaches smart, effective online experience strategies to Product Managers, tech professionals, business owners and executives, who want to understand their customer’s needs and deliver valuable experiences. Customer insights also referred to as User Research, is the bedrock to creating a successful business that creates a positive impact and fuels higher profits.

The reason for the creation of UX Effect

The idea grew from an observation of working with project managers, product managers and traditional marketers in small, medium and large-sized businesses who struggled to make user-centred design decisions related to digital products. I have seen businesses lose money creating products that are based on assumptions and guessing what their customers need. There is very little to sometimes no evidence to support what their customers need or what their frustrations are. This is resulting in product managers feeling uneducated and then blamed for a product’s failure. Companies are also wasting time making products people don’t use or even like. We aim to close the knowledge gap and empower businesses to make more informed decisions to ensure business growth and returning customers.
